Despite the past few months being a little unpredictable (OK, right, understatement of the year right there!), we promise you, July marks a turning point.

Aries (March 21 - April 20)
Aries, take some time, especially around the 12th, in order to have those tough conversations you’ve been putting off with a client who fell out with you earlier this year.
Was there a misunderstanding that has kept them from booking their usual appointment? Clear the air (literally, Aries!) by asking how you can right the wrong and improve your service offerings.
There is no better time than now to not only rebuild this relationship but begin to rebuild your clientele listing and brand reputation!
Consider going so far as to ask this customer for help on a business decision or to provide you with a testimonial. Trust us, they’ll appreciate your asking for advice.
Taurus (April 21 - May 20)
Sometimes it can be hard to shake off the notion that you, yourself, are as stubborn as the bull that represents your sign. Don’t forget, though, that the ancient hieroglyph of the Taurus also features a crescent, which symbolizes your receptivity.
What’s more, and especially this month, you should put your stubborn business ways aside and network (virtually!) with other top lash techs and artists. You’ll likely learn new tips and tricks that will have your clients talking up your services to all of their friends...and all of their friends’ friends!
Another best practice as we head into Leo Season on the 22nd? Invest not only in your new skills but your nest by adding some much-needed salon decor upgrades. Right, because, who doesn’t need an excuse for some shopping!
Gemini (May 21 - June 20)
Not only is Mercury your ruler, but this feisty little planet is going to keep you unsettled through July with an added dose of money woes! But instead of fretting over lost savings or grant applications that did not come through on behalf of your small business, try to think of a creative way to pass this month.
An extra bit of education through training will boost your confidence and skills to go that additional mile whilst also assisting in the career goal you so desperately desire to achieve.

Crabby much? We wouldn’t blame you since it’s been one heckuva year already! That said, you would be wise to avoid any confrontation on either the home or work front despite the fact that you feel you’ve been pulling double duty for the past seven months.
Perhaps your birthday month calls for some much-needed self-indulgence. Treat yourself to that slab of chocolate cake, a glass of champagne, and a set of pedicure treatment– you deserve it!
We say, take some time out from work to reconnect with yourself this month by becoming the client instead of the technician. Not only will this make you feel like a pampered star, but might jumpstart your creativity with inspirations for your own business.
Leo (July 23 - August 22)
All work and no play made the king (or queen!) of the jungle a dull monarch for sure. This is all to say that, and like many other signs, the salon owner has had a rough go of in 2020. The stress has likely been mounting around the salon as the business continues to plateau and you have to face the tough decision of making redundant employees (or two).
These are unpleasant times for everyone, of course, but don’t forget that others look to you, Leo, for your leadership—so rise to the occasion.

Patience will also be key in the boardroom, bank, and beyond as you may have to request clarification on everything from bills to bottom-lines.

It can be a bitter pill to swallow, that of losing a long-standing client or a reliable customer. This goes double during times of uncertainty (er, COVID-19, anyone?), but when one door closes another one opens, or: by no longer having to cling to the past and work to keep a client, you, Sag, are now free to explore what you may have been missing all these months in terms of business opportunities.
Why not, then, also get a little creative with your brainstorming initiatives in an effort to rebrand your lash business? How about learning how to find the right visual for your lash studio branding?
Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
Unfortunately, July will see one business venture flag or fail as you continue to climb the ladder within an established salon or get some traction on your own. Just try to remember that with each passing partnership or round of funding you are getting stronger and coming that much closer to your goal.

Have you been thinking of leaving your current job or starting up your own salon? Well, with the new moon starting on the 20th, there is no better time than now to make the leap.
Starting a new job or venture can be scary, but when you are making the change for the right reasons (here, read: yourself and not due to a lousy boss or coworker), then the right clients will find you.
