Eyelids are the thinnest and most sensitive part of the human body. The most common complaints of having eyelash extensions are as follow; eyelids are itchy or swollen, lashes stuck each other, and they cause pain, or eyes get bloodshot. The main culprit is the improper use of glue.

Therefore, understanding how to use the glue is the responsibility of lash artists  to reduce the occurrence of discomfort.

 Main Factors Affecting Glue Quality

Temperature, humidity, light, state of the client's lashes, and hygienic conditions are the most critical factors affecting the quality of lash extension adhesives.

How to reduce troubles arising from improper lash adhesive use

Use adhesive suitable for the situation

A lash artist should ideally have two or more kinds of glue at hand (e.g. fast-drying, low irritation, etc.) and should have a good understanding of the different features and properties of each adhesive before use.

Follow the correct usage for the glue

Do not mix adhesives or move them to another container from its container. Place glue on a glue plate or glue plate film when using. Every 20 minutes, use a new droplet of glue to prevent its performance degradation.

Follow the correct extension methods

Extension lashes should be applied about 1 mm away from the eyelid. Applying extension eyelashes too close to the eyelid increases the likelihood of getting glue on the eyelid, which can cause itchiness, swelling, redness, and irritation.

Sufficient consultation with the customer

Eyelash extension should not be performed if customers are not feeling their best. This is because there may be a hypersensitive reaction to glue when they are not in a good state even if they usually are not allergic to it.

DIU Glue (10g/5g)
